
All the best to Hedman in the future... whatever it holds for him.
The Tampa Bay Lightning have released a statement from captain Victor Hedman that clarifies, sort of, why he's been out of the team's lineup since March.
In the statement, Hedman explains that he has stepped away from the team to focus on his mental health. His return to the team for next season is unclear, but Hedman does state that he's in a better mental state now then when he left the team.
