Linesmen hold McQuaid as he receives a beating!

Poor Adam McQuaid must have felt like he was in a weird Bruce Lee movie as the referees hold him while William Carrier was giving him the business. Carrier pounded almost a dozen punches on an helpless Mcquaid leaving the Bruins defenceman bloodied.

The Bruins defenceman stepped up for his teammate who was rocked earlier in the game by Carrier.

This situation should be examined by the NHL as the linesmen had nothing to do in there so quickly. Both guys wanted to fight and it was already on when they tried to split them up. They could have injured themselves on the play or things could have been way worst for Adam McQuaid.
