Mahura takes a nasty cut to the face, leaks blood everywhere
A scary moment in Toronto this evening. This is hard to watch.

Florida Panthers defenseman Josh Mahura has left tonight's game against the Toronto Maple Leafs after suffering a nasty cut to the face from an errant point shot directed by Leafs forward William Nylander.
Mahura left the ice with a pool of blood following him in a nasty scene.
Here's how it all played out:
Initially it looked like Mahura took the shot directly to the eye which is terrifying, but on close up it looks like it glanced his cheek. A painful, tough moment for sure... but cheeks can be stitched back together, while eyeballs cannot. Lucky break.
