Guess who's back!
Only two months after MVP performance at the 2016 NHL All-Star event, which many believed would be his final NHL appearance, John Scott has been recalled by the Montreal Canadiens.
The 33-year-old enforcer had one assist in 11 games with the Coyotes before being shipped to Montreal earlier this season. He recorded two goals, four points and 85 penalty minutes in 27 AHL games so far this season.
The Canadiens have been dealing with a ton of injuries this season, and with three games remaining on the schedule, Scott may slot in. If Scott winds up dressing, it will mark his seventh team in eight seasons in and out of the league.
Canadiens assigned forward Michael McCarron to the AHL IceCaps, and recalled John Scott from St. John's tonight.
