Major personal update from Toronto's Ilya Lyubushkin

The two day break for the Toronto Maple Leafs in their Round 1 postseason series against the Boston Bruins could not have come at a more opportune time for defenseman Ilya Lyubushkin. 

He shared the happy news on social media that he's now the proud parent of a baby girl: 

The translated caption reads: 

"Daddy's Daughter ❤️ thank you Beloved @lyubushkina92_di you are the best"

The Russian defenseman is in his second tenure with the Maple Leafs, having been reacquired by Toronto in a three-team trade at this season's NHL Trade Deadline. 

He's appeared in each of Toronto's first three games of their Round 1 series, registering an assist.
