Major update on Jagr's ongoing contract negotiations.
Some good news after today's rumors.
HockeyFeed
Earlier today we brought you bad news courtesy of a Kontinental Hockey League general manager, news that suggested they were in serious discussions with National Hockey League legend Jaromir Jagr.
Despite the fact that the general manager for HC Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk seemed to express confidence in the fact that his team had the financial capital to bring Jagre over, that confidence may have been misplaced.
KHL insider Aivis Kalnins is now reporting that a source has informed him that "'Jagr is exploring his options but is not particularly interested in Neftehimik'.'
For fans, like me, who are still holding out hope that Jagr will get at least one more season in the National Hockey League this comes as a sign of hope that Jagr is still holding out for a deal with an NHL franchise.
We will continue to keep you up to date on everything Jagr related as the news becomes available.
