Malkin makes bold claim for next season

Evgeni Malkin is confident that the Pittsburgh Penguins can repeat their Stanley Cup run next season. 

Malkin who recently spoke to Hockey reporter Igor Eronko says that the combination of returning players and the new crop of young talent will allow the Pens to be a dominant force again this season. A lot of people are interested to see if players like Jake Guentzel can continue to perform so effectively and if young players like Daniel Sprong and Zach Aston-Reese will be able to make an immediate impact in black and yellow. It is a very bold claim to make so early on but Malkin is confident and has a decent track record to prove it.
