This just in, the Utah Mammoth have confirmed that forward Logan Cooley will be out long-term after suffering a devastating leg injury last week against the Vancouver Canucks.

Utah general manager Bill Armstrong confirmed today that Cooley will be out a minimum of 8 weeks.

Honestly... 8 weeks isn't that bad considering how bad the injury looked.

In case you missed it, Cooley slammed his knee into the post while facing the Canucks last week.

That overhead view makes me cringe... legs are not meant to bend that way.

Tough break for the kid, needless to say. The 21 year old leads the Mammoth in goal scoring and has an impressive 23 points in 29 games.
