The Toronto Maple Leafs are sending winger Dryden Hunt to the Calgary Flames, per Shayna Goldman of The Athletic. In return, Toronto lands forward Radim Zohorna.
This is a fourth team for Hunt this year, who will seek stability in Calgary. The Maple Leafs acquired him from the Colorado Avalanche this past December, in a trade for Denis Malgin. Hunt will join his fourth team this season, having also played for the New York Rangers and Colorado Avalanche earlier in 2022-23. In total, he has taking part in 37 NHL games this season.
As for Zohorna, he has 33 NHL games under his belt, including eight this season.
Before pulling this transaction, the Flames were the only team not to make a trade this season.
