The Toronto Maple Leafs will be looking to gain momentum and build off Wednesday night's 5-4 victory over the Dallas Stars when they head to the nation's capitol for a divisional tilt against the struggling Ottawa Senators.
And ahead of the matchup, the Leafs have announced a roster move. Recalled from the American League affiliate Toronto Marlies is defenseman Max Lajoie:
Originally a Senators draft pick (133rd overall) in 2016, he was traded to Carolina in January of 2021. After three years within their organization, he agreed to a one-year, two-way contract with the Leafs this past summer.
He's scored a total of seven goals and eight assists in 70 NHL games, while adding two goals and 15 assists this year in 31 games with the Marlies.
