The Leafs are back in action tomorrow night.
Toronto Maple Leafs general manager Kyle Dubas certainly took a leap of faith when he decided to completely overhaul his team's goaltending situation this offseason, bidding goodbye to Jack Campbell and Petr Mrazek and bringing aboard Matt Murray and Ilya Samsonov in their places.
And despite a few early bumps with Murray, he's done nothing but look like his old self in his most recent starts between the pipes. Meanwhile, Samsonov has turned in equally impressive performances, having pitched two straight shutouts now in his last two starts.
The Leafs head out on the road for a two game road trip that will see them make stops in the Big Apple as well as Washington D.C., and they've announced their goalie rotation. It will be Matt Murray getting the start tomorrow night against the Rangers, while they'll go right back to Samsonov against the Washington Capitals on Saturday night.
