A huge round of cuts from the Toronto Maple Leafs on Monday.
Training camps are rapidly coming to a close around the National Hockey League and as a result we have seen some significant cuts to NHL rosters around the league over the course of the last few days.
On Monday, the Toronto Maple Leafs made their own round of cuts when they trimmed their training camp roster by a whopping 30 players as they look to get their roster NHL ready for the start of the 2025-26 regular season.
First let's take a look at the huge list of players who were cut from the roster on Monday:

Now to be clear all of the players listed here remain under the umbrella of the Maple Leafs organization and all of them will be sent down to the American Hockey League's Toronto Marlies. The Marlies, the AHL affiliate of the Toronto Maple Leafs, are set to begin their own training camp in relatively short order which is another reason that the Maple Leafs are sending so many of these players down today.
While of course disappointing for the players being sent down today, these types of cuts are not at all unusual at this time of the year and you can expect there to be plenty more news of this nature over the course of the coming week.
Stay tuned for more.
