The Toronto Maple Leafs lost forward Noel Acciari during the first period of tonight's game at Scotiabank Arena against the visiting Carolina Hurricanes after he suffered a blow to the head courtesy of a punch from Jesse Puljujärvi that went uncalled.

At the very least, that's an interference penalty. And as you can imagine, Leafs bench boss Sheldon Keefe was not exactly pleased.
Acciari has not returned to the game, as it was announced that he will not be coming back into action.
