The Toronto Maple Leafs are coming off what can only be described as a very disappointing loss to the Montreal Canadiens, one in which they had a 3 goal lead at one point, and now Maple Leafs' head coach Mike Babcock is implementing some changes to his lineup.

It is unclear if the Maple Leafs have adjusted their roster due to the collapse that took place in the 3rd period of Saturday's game against the Habs or if it is due to the fact that the Leafs will be facing off against the defending Stanley Cup Champion St. Louis Blues, but what we do know for certain is that the Blues have made 4 significant changes to their line up for this evening's contest.

The first and most obvious change is the swap in goal. Returning to the crease for the Maple Leafs will be starting goaltender Frederik Andersen who sat out the second half of a back to back when he was replaced by backup goaltender Michael Hutchinson who had a less than stellar outing against the Habs. That won't be the only change however as both veteran forward Jason Spezza and forward Nic Petan will be back on the 4th line to face the Blues. There will only be a single change made on the blue line this evening and that will see defenseman Justin Holl inserted back into the lineup, perhaps a sign that head coach Mike Babcock is starting to have a little more confidence in the play of Holl on the blue line, although that remains to be seen.

Here is tonight's full line up for the Maple Leafs as per Jonas Siegel of The Athletic:

Forwards:

Johnsson-Matthews-Nylander
Kapanen-Tavares-Marner
Mikheyev-Kerfoot-Moore
Petan-Spezza-Gauthier

Defensemen:

Rielly-Ceci
