The Toronto Maple Leafs are essentially the walking wounded right now, as they're without all of Morgan Rielly, Mitch Marner, Joel Edmundson and Timothy Liljegren.

However, the good news is that Rielly, Marner and Edmundson are progressing well. In fact, Edmundson made an appearance on the ice this morning at Leafs practice ahead of their game tonight against the Tampa Bay Lightning.

It was only seven games after he was acquired from the Washington Capitals that he was injured and placed on Long Term Injured Reserve. And while he's continuing his healing process, the earliest he will be returning will be Monday against the Pittsburgh Penguins or Tuesday against the New Jersey Devils, according to head coach Sheldon Keefe.

Additionally, Rielly explained today that he's feeling well enough to play, and that he'll be in the lineup tonight against the Lightning.
