Maple Leafs share huge update on goalie Joseph Woll.

The Toronto Maple Leafs had a big update regarding their injured goaltender on Monday morning.

The Toronto Maple Leafs have shared some very good news.

On Monday morning, the Maple Leafs officially announced that goaltender Joseph Woll was being brought back up to the main roster after a conditioning stint with the American Hockey League's Toronto Marlies.

Woll last saw action in an NHL game all the way back in early December when the Maple Leafs faced off against the Ottawa Senators, and has been sidelined by injury every since. The conditioning stint with the Marlies was more a formality than anything else and Woll looked outstanding in his single performance at the AHL level. Woll allowed just a single goal while facing 37 shots from a very motivated Laval Rocket team, finished the night with a .973 save percentage and a 1.00 goals against average.

It seems like only a matter of time before Woll is back between the pipes for the Maple Leafs, and the only question now is what will the Maple Leafs do about their crowded net with the aforementioned Woll, goaltender Ilya Samsonov, and Martin Jones all currently on the roster.
