Marc-Andre Fleury pulls an epic prank on Sidney Crosby.

Over his lengthy career in the National Hockey League, veteran goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury has become one of the most universally beloved figures in the sport. That remains true whether you're talking about fans, players, coaches or general managers, but there's another quality that Fleury has become known for as well.

Despite the fact that he is very much a good natured and jovial person, Fleury also has something of a more sinister side to him as well. The NHL star has also earned a reputation as a notorious prankster around the league, often pulling tricks on his fellow teammates in the hopes of eliciting a few laughs. Over the years these pranks have taken many forms, but Fleury may have reserved one of his most special pranks for a very special player.

This week a number of NHL players were all assembled in Las Vegas, Nevada as they participated in the NHL's Player Media Tour and that of course included players from all around the league. This meant that a number of players from opposing teams ended up sharing a locker room, including the aforementioned Marc-Andre Fleury and his former teammate, Pittsburgh Penguins captain Sidney Crosby.

I'm sure it will come as no surprise to those of you who have read this far that the notorious prankster that is Marc-Andre Fleury simply couldn't resist the chance to pull off one of his now infamous pranks on his former captain. Thankfully the cameras were rolling when it all went down, and we got to see Sidney Crosby's reaction as he realized what was in store for him.

As Crosby walks into the locker room, he quickly realizes that there's something off about the equipment in his stall. Crosby isn't at all confused though, as he immediately deduces what has transpired and immediately identifies Fleury as the culprit. That of course does little to change the fact that Fleury appears to have heavily wrapped every piece of Crosby's equipment with plastic wrap, making it very difficult for him to put his gear on.

The video also captures a great moment between the two players as they discuss the prank, as well as a very nice hug and a handshake from the two friends.
