Harsh message to a former teammate.
Some people are celebrating Marc-Andre Fleury for sticking up for his teammate, but others are calling this a childish display.
On Wednesday night we were treated to Game 4 of what has been a very dramatic series between the Washington Capitals and Pittsburgh Penguins thus far, but the cameras caught something very early on in the game.
Prior to Game 3 where a cross-check from Matt Niskanen is believed to have injured Sidney Crosby, Penguins goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury had the name of Niskanen, a former teammate, as one of the ones featured on the back of his mask.
Tonight however Fleury came out with tape over Niskanen's name, as if to indicate that he was now persona non grata. Here's a look.
