Marchand attacks a reporter who ripped his teammate!

Boston Bruins pest Brad Marchand is usually the one who teases and says provocative things to his teammate Torey Krug. So when a reporter went after his teammate on Wednesday night, Marchand ripped him through his Twitter account on Thursday morning after the reporter released a controversial analysis the day before.

Team insider and NBC Sports Network columnist Joe Haggerty published his story after a Boston 5-0 win over the New York Islanders on Tuesday, in which he suggests that the team has been better in the absence of defenseman Torey Krug.

Marchand, who was quoted as the best and worst trash talker of the NHL in a poll of the Players' Association on Wednesday, came to the defense of his teammate and buddy, who has been sidelined and struggling with the symptoms of a concussion.

He made typos as he wrote, so we can imagine Marchand was pissed when he wrote the message. 

"What kinda garbage is this Haggs...you don't even watch the games you just stand at the snack bar the whole time!"

Marchand didn't stop there. He replied again to the journalist's post minutes later, telling him "don't come at the boys!"

You can't deny the great chemistry and team spirit in the Bruins' dressing room. 

Haggerty has been covering the Bruins for more than 10 years. Marchand might not be as generous with his time and answers when it comes to Haggerty from now on...
