Marchand scores his 1,000th career point and the Panthers pile onto the ice to celebrate

Brad Marchand has joined the 1K club.

The Florida Panthers forward has scored his 1,000th NHL point in his 1,116th NHL game with an assist on Eetu Luostarinen's empty net goal this evening.

That brings Marchand up to 20 points in 16 games to start the season with the Panthers... at age 37. Is there any doubt that this guy has fit in perfectly with the Panthers? Talk about an all-time blunder from the Boston Bruins to let this guy get away so easily.
