The Colorado Avalanche are fighting for their playoff lives tonight against the Vegas Golden Knights and it looks like they'll be down one of their most important players for the second half of Game 4.

Avs forward Martin Necas needed help getting off the ice after taking a hit from Golden Knights forward Tomas Hertl in the neutral zone.

Here's the hit:

There's no doubt that Hertl throws his hip into this hit, but I don't think he purposefully clipped Necas in the knee.
