At this point in time anyone willing to take on Columbus Blue Jackets enforcer Mathieu Olivier is deserving of recognition, and that is certainly the case for Boston Bruins forward Mark Kastelic.

On Sunday, Kastelic and the Bruins faced off against the Blue Jackets and it would be in the final minutes of that game's first period that Kastelic and Olivier would drop the gloves. The two men squared off right away after a face-off in the Blue Jackets end, an indication that Kastelic went into this fight willingly as hard as that might be to believe.

The two men would skate towards center ice before tying each other up and unleashing a hailstorm of punches at one another. It was nothing but stiff right hands being fired off by both men as they landed shot after shot, with neither man willing to back down initially.

Olivier however is considered by most to be the NHL's uncrowned heavyweight champion and he showed why as he absorbed every shot from Kastelic, and began to wear down the Bruins forward with offense of his own. Kastelic began to stumble in the later stages of the fight but much to his credit he continued to get back up to his feet, unwilling to back down even in the face of a man as intimidating as Olivier.

It was one hell of a scrap, and you can see it all just below:
