Mats Zuccarello roasts Chris Kreider over 300 goal milestone.

Mats Zuccarello had some hilarious words for his former teammate after his big milestone this weekend.

New York Rangers star forward Chris Kreider picked up a major career milestone over the weekend when he recorded the 300th goal of his National Hockey League career... but as it turns out not everyone was overly impressed with his accomplishment.

In what will no doubt go down as one of the funnier lines of this NHL season, one of Kreider's former teammates took it upon himself to chirp Kreider rather than congratulate him.

It was Minnesota Wild forward Mats Zuccarello who would deliver the roasting to Kreider when he was asked about the accomplishment from a man he spent many years playing with, an accomplishment that Zuccarello himself played no small role in.

"It's impressive," began Zuccarello before adding, "Too bad I got traded or he would've gotten (to 300) faster.
"

Zuccarello is of course only joking but there may also be some truth to his words as well. The former Rangers forward helped set up Kreider for 38 of those 300 goals during their time together as members of the Rangers roster, and who knows how many more he could have added to that total had he remained in New York.
