Veteran centre Matt Cullen has decided to return for a 20th season in the National Hockey League.
Cullen has chosen to come back with the Minnesota Wild.
The forward has agreed to a one year contract with performance bonuses with the Wild, with whom he played for three seasons.
Cullen, 40, is coming off back-to-back Stanley Cup championships with the Pittsburgh Penguins and was an unrestricted free agent. Cullen had hinted at retirement after the Pens' triumph but clearly believes he has more in the tank.
In 72 games last season with the Penguins, he recorded 13 goals and 31 points.
