Are the Toronto Maple Leafs potentially on the verge of getting another piece of goaltending depth back?
Earlier today, veteran goaltender Matt Murray was seen on the ice at the Leafs practice facility, facing a few shots:
Murray has not played once this season, with his last regular season game coming nearly one full year ago today at Scotiabank Arena against the Detroit Red Wings. He suffered an injury during that matchup after he was accidentally collided with by forward Lucas Raymond.
During the 2022-23 regular season, Murray posted a record of 14-8-2 record with a 3.01 goals against average and .903 save percentage.
