
The veteran goalie gets a second...er... third chance at an NHL comeback.
Former Toronto Maple Leafs, Ottawa Senators and Pittsburgh Penguins goaltender Matt Murray has signed a one year contract with the Seattle Kraken worth $1 million.
Murray's signing creates some added competition for the Kraken heading into training camp. Kraken general manager Jason Botterill already said last week that Philipp Grubauer will be returning to the fold alongside netminder Joey Daccord.
