These two were just dying to get to one another.

On Saturday, the New York Rangers clashed with the Boston Bruins in what is proving to be a hotly contested and fiery preseason game, the final preseason game for both of these teams. It wouldn't take long for things to start getting ugly either with both Rangers forward Matt Rempe and Bruins forward Mark Kastelic getting sent to the box for unsportsmanlike conduct late in the first period.

There must have been some trash talk on the ice or a back and forth that occurred while the two men were in the penalty box, because the two penalties were far from the end of this one.

Once both men had left the penalty box, with only seconds left on the clock in the first period, the punches started flying immediately with Rempe and Kastelic wasting no time earning themselves some more time off the ice.

There was a considerable size advantage for Rempe here, as tends to be the case when Rempe is involved, and he used his size advantage to outmuscle Kastelic and get the better of him. Neither man landed any big blows in this one, but it seems fair to give the nod to Rempe.
