Matthew Barnaby victim of robbery at his home.

A terrible update from the former NHL player.

It is the holiday season but unfortunately not everyone is out there spreading holiday cheer.

Former National Hockey League forward Matthew Barnaby has just published a terrible update through social media, notifying his followers of the fact that he has been the victim of a robbery at his very own home this week. Barnaby revealed that his Jeep vehicle had been stolen from his driveway, likely while he was asleep or away from the residence, and did so while also sending some bad vibes the way of the thieves.

"My JEEP just got stolen from my driveway," revealed Barnaby through his social media. "I really hope the people that stole it get hurt bad driving it to Montreal to send over seas."

It would seem that Barnaby did not feel the need to have security cameras outside of his home prior to the robbery this week, but it sounds like that is about to change. Following his report of the robbery, Barnaby also asked his followers on social media to recommend some good security cameras with the intent likely being to install them to prevent this from happening in the future.

"Can anyone advise on good security cameras?" asked Barnaby. "Ones that wake u with movement so I can catch the bastards? Bc moving my bed to front porch I guess isn’t an option."

No doubt law enforcement officials are already on the case and hopefully the people responsible for this act will be brought to justice. Alternatively, they could just let the former NHL enforcer himself have a few minutes alone with them to settle the score.
