Matthew Knies overinflates Maple Leafs tires in latest comments
Nothing wrong with some confidence, right?

While it hasn't always been the smoothest of sailing for the Toronto Maple Leafs this season, they still are in good position to be able to once again secure a playoff berth. How far they go beyond that remains to be seen, though fans and management are certainly hoping to see them build off last year's triumph that saw them finally advance past Round 1 for the first time since 2004.
For rookie forward Matthew Knies, he feels as though Leafs opponents have them circled on their calendars as games they need extra energy for.
"Everyone wants to play their best against us, right?" he said. "I think everyone kinda has us circled on their calendar, and I think that makes us raise a level."
Naturally, he encountered some pushback when his comments were published on social media.
