Matthew Tkachuk attempts to hook up teammate with gorgeous supermodel Sommer Ray

The Florida Panthers are feeling invincible after winning back to back Stanley Cups with the party still going off for the players. The team’s championship parade took place on Sunday amid wild parties and a $500,000 bar bill at the Eleven Nightclub in Miami. But the celebrations also begun on Friday when Panthers forward Matthew Tkachuk put in a good word for teammate Anton Lundell to model Sommer Ray, trying to hook them up on a possible date.

The supermodel’s name came up when Panthers captain Aleksander Barkov was searching for teammate Sam Reinhart on Instagram and instead found the page for Sommer Ray.

“There’s two names in the search column, Sommer Ray … and Sam Reinhart,” the captain said. “Accidentally, I wanted to write Sam Reinhart… it came up as Sommer Ray.”

The boys probably spoke about the brunette beauty, and this prompted Tkachuk to take a shot at Ray for his buddy Lundell:

“Sorry for bothering you @SommerRay … but our friend Anton Lundell says hi!! Great guy,” he posted on X.

Sommer Ray, who boasts 1.3 million followers on X alone, has not publicly replied to Tkachuk’s tweet as of Wednesday.

Good things come to those who wait I guess.
