Matthew Tkachuk chirps the TNT panel, Tocchet chirps back and throws Keith Tkachuk under the bus

The Calgary Flames continued to steamroll their way through the Western Conference last night with a 4-2 victory over the Anaheim Ducks on TNT.

Prior to the game Flames forward Matthew Tkachuk chatted with the TNT broadcast team when analyst Rick Tocchet received a bit of a barb from Tkachuk, but... if you know Toc... he didn't back down.

How great is that?

I know I've said this a bunch, but I'm absolutely LOVING what TNT is bringing to the NHL this season. Especially when you compare it side by side with the stuffy Wednesday night broadcasts put out by Sportsnet. I'm a big fan of Hockey Night in Canada and I've gone on record saying that it's the best broadcasting product in sports, but the Wednesday night Hometown Hockey on Sportsnet are getting tough to watch. TNT on the flip side, is like a breath of fresh air.
