UPDATE 2: Domi drops the gloves again! His second scrap this evening!

UPDATE: Anaheim Ducks captain Radko Gudas dropped the gloves with Toronto Maple Leafs forward Max Domi off the opening faceoff tonight the the first rematch between the two teams since Gudas injured Leafs captain Auston Matthews.

Beef settled.

Anaheim Ducks captain Radko Gudas confirmed to media today that he will indeed be in the lineup for his team tonight when they take on the Toronto Maple Leafs in the first rematch between the two teams since Gudas took out Leafs captain Auston Matthews with a controversial hit.

When asked by reporters if Gudas expects any retribution for taking out Matthews, the big Czech defenseman issued a warning shot saying, "I want to stand behind my own mistakes. I want to address it myself."

In other words: "Bring it on."

Gudas has never been one to shy away from physicality or fisticuffs, so it's not entirely surprising to hear him make a statement like this. I full expect that he'll drop the gloves early and pay his toll for taking out the Leafs' all-time goal scoring leader.
