Max Domi has reportedly been traded
One big name off the trade board ahead of tomorrow's deadline.

NHL insider Frank Seravalli is reporting today that the Chicago Blackhawks are trading forward Max Domi to the Dallas Stars. We don't yet know full details of the deal, but Seravalli reports that veteran goaltender Anton Khudobin will be part of the deal.

More to come on this developing story.
The 28 year old Domi has had a renaissance season with the Blackhawks this year after a few down campaigns where he bounced around the NHL a bit. He has an impressive 18 goals and 49 points in 60 games for the Blackhawks this season, his best point totals since 2019 when he was a member of the Montreal Canadiens.
Last season he was also dealt at the trade deadline, but failed to catch on with the Carolina Hurricanes who acquired him from the Columbus Blue Jackets. From the outside looking in though, Domi appears to be a perfect fit on a veteran Stars team. Again, we don't know the details of the trade just yet but if the Stars were able to acquire Domi without removing anything from their roster, then this is a tidy bit of business from GM Jim Nill.
