McDavid leaves practice early after having “a few words” with coach Tippett

This just in from Edmonton Oilers' insider Ryan Rishaug of TSN, Oilers captain Connor McDavid left his team's practice early today after having "a few words" with head coach Dave Tippett.

Hmmmmm... that's awfully suspicious. It certainly didn't look like McDavid was upset though. This wasn't a case of a guy breaking his stick and then slamming the bench door on his way off the ice. Clearly McDavid was thinking about whatever Tippett had mentioned to him just moments earlier.
