McDavid locks trophy race with 100th point!
Sportsnet

Yesterday was the last night of the official season in the NHL and the Oilers played the very last game of the league's schedule. It was a clear 5-2 victory over the Canucks, but was particular feat was achieved by none other than Connor McDavid

He needed 2 points to reach the 100 points plateau. The Art Ross trophy race was pretty much over at that point, since the closest was Sidney Crosby with 89. However, being the only player in the NHL with 100 points is a nice achievement to complete and McDavid was on a mission. He scored 2 points in brilliant passes to teammates.

The most interesting feature of this achievement is that Connor was quick to point to teammates to justify his success.

Some see the Oilers going deep in this year's Playofff. If McDavid's attitude is any indication, other teams need to be on their A game!
