McDavid scores an electric breakaway goal to silence Stars fans in Game 5
The speed of both his skates and his hands... just out of this world.
Connor McDavid has shown up ready to play in Game 5.
With the Edmonton Oilers up 3-2 on the Dallas Stars midway through the 2nd period this evening, McDavid managed to find some wiggle room and manufactured a breakaway for himself against Stars goaltender Casey DeSmith.
That's when McDavid does his thing:
Just an absurdly skilled goal from an absurdly skilled player. The speed, the edge work, the puck control, the patience... just all out of this world.
4-2, Oilers.

WOW!
The Dallas Stars are absolutely FUMBLING away Game 5 on home ice.
The Stars gave up two goals on their first two shots against of the game, leading to superstar goaltender Jake Oettinger getting the yank.
Stars head coach Peter DeBoer called a timeout immediately following the Oilers' 2-0 goal where he made the decision to pull Oettinger in favor of backup Casey DeSmith.
And if that weren't bad enough for the Stars... DeSmith allowed his second shot on goal. It's now 3-0 Oilers.
