McDavid takes stick to the face and heads to dressing room

The Edmonton Oilers are having a rough start to the new season, and they cannot afford to lose any other players to injuries. With Leon Draisaitl and Drake Caggiula both out, the last thing they need is an injury to Connor McDavid. 

And of course, it's Murphy's law: "Anything that can go wrong will go wrong".

During Saturday's game against the Phildelphia Flyers, the Oilers captain took a hard stick to the face and had to leave to the dressing room.

Adam Larsson looked to blame Jakub Voracek, but it was in fact his own teammate who smacked McDavid in the face.

And yes : panic! McDavid had to get treatment from the head trainer, but fortunalety returned to the ice. 

It would have been a terrible blow to the Oilers, especially after losing Draisaitl to an eye injury that resulted into a concussion... 

Let's cross our fingers it does not get worse for the Oilers and McDavid...
