Michael Carcone unloads on Jack Drury and gets ridiculous penalties for the fight!
Lopsided fight that ended with a huge man advantage for Carolina. See the fight below:
In an unexpected sequence of events on Wednesday night, Michael Carcone became the enforcer in the most lopsided fight of the season for the Utah Hockey Club.
In the third period, after running into Carolina Hurricanes’ Jack Drury, tempers flared and Carcone had enough. He flipped a switch and went after Drury, dropping the gloves and his opponents by unloading a bunch of punches and getting sent to the box.
It is more than likely that Drury said something to him and got what he deserved, but wow, it turned into this lopsided fight:
However, the Hurricanes ended up with a seven-minute power-play. Carcone was given two minutes for instigating, five minutes for fighting and a game misconduct. Fans were stunned in the building.
Carolina therefore went on a seven-minute power play midway through the third period, but Utah managed to kill it off.
The crowd was going wild and then celebrated the 4-1 win after a fight they won’t forget any time soon.
