Flyers coach Dave Hakstol recently said Steve Mason is still the number one goalie in Philadelphia but if Neuvirth keeps playing like he is right now, that might change.

Neuvirth salvaged the Flyers Canadian road trip by shutting out the Winnipeg Jets on Saturday. It was his 3rd shutout this season and that currently leads the league. He currently has a 1.81 GAA and a .945 save percentage to go with his 3-2-1 record.

The Flyers haven't gotten off to a good start this season but being able to rely on a solid goalie will definitely help the Flyers be able to turn things around. The Flyers now play 6 of their next 9 games at Wells Fargo Center. The Flyers have a winning record at home so maybe this is the time for the Flyers luck to change.

They play the Colorado Avalanche tonight who have also had rough start to the season. Let's look to the Flyers take advantage of that.

Let's go Flyers!
