Microphone catches Ovechkin and Reaves chatting about their summer during faceoff

In case you missed it last night, the Washington Capitals absolutely walked all over the New York Rangers in both teams' season debut, earning a well deserved 5-1 victory.

The Capitals were spurred on by captain Alex Ovechkin and his 731st career NHL goal, good for a tie for 5th place with Marcel Dionne on the league's all time goal scoring list. 

Here's the goal in question:

A beautiful goal, no doubt... but let's be real... we've watched Ovi do this 731 times already. It's getting to be a little "old hat", what I really want to see from Ovi is something new. Something like... oh I don't know... something like this:
