Mitch Marner snaps at Muzzin for hurting him during practice, leaves with trainer

Uh oh…

The Toronto Maple Leafs are on a roll and don’t want anything to intervene with that - especially one of their own. Unfortunately on Friday morning during team practice, defenseman Jake Muzzin collided with top forward Mitch Marner, who got the worse of the collision, and was not happy about it.

He was caught on tape as he snapped at Muzzin, before gingerly skating around with apparent discomfort.

Marner then left practice early with a team trainer right after the heated exchange with Muzzin.

I guess the Maple Leafs will have to give an update on his condition following the skate or ahead of Toronto’s next contest, against the Minnesota Wild on Saturday night.

UPDATE: After practice, head coach Sheldon Keefe said Marner left the skate for “precautionary” reasons. He will travel to Minnesota and be re-evaluated in the morning.
