Montreal deploys riot police after Game 7 win

The Montreal Canadiens clinched a berth in the Eastern Conference Final thanks to a Game 7 victory over the Buffalo Sabres in Buffalo last night.

As you can imagine, the streets of Montreal were full of celebrating fans last night, but it wasn't all fun and merriment in La Belle Province. There were reports late yesterday evening that riot police had been deployed in downtown Montreal after some fans got a bit too rowdy.
