With the series tied 1-1 and the Rangers heading back to New York, the Montreal Canadiens have switched up their lines.

Nikita Nesterov had a rough start to the series, with no points in two games and they are now swapping him out for Brandon Davidson. The latter is a bit bigger than Nesterov and thus is much more physical.  The Rangers will have to watch for his shot from the point too, although he's no Shea Weber. However, he has absolutely no playoff experience.  Nesterov was horrible in the first two games and it might make the bottom defense pairing a bit better.

Another change made is Torrey Mitchell getting in for the first time in exchange of Andreas Martinsen.  Even though he has yet to play in the postseason this year, he does have a lot of playoff experience unlike Matrinsen. The Rangers could however take advantage of this, as he has not played in over a week. They need to put pressure on his line and make sure they don't get the chance to get the chemistry going.

The biggest change is Alex Galchenyuk centering the third line between Andrew Shaw and Artturi Lehkonen.  It seems as if Montreal’s head coach has more confidence in Galchenyuk since the last game.  This change makes the the third line extremely fast, and it is important that the Rangers keep up.

If the Rangers can stop the possible effectiveness of these line switches, we are confident that they will be able to pull off their first win at home.
