A bad loss for the Oilers.
This isn't adding insult to injury, in fact it's the exact opposite.
The Oilers faithful were upset on Wednesday night and for good reason, talented forward Nail Yakupov was down on the ice in obvious pain after a clumsy official dragged the young man down as he fell.
It appears that Yakupov's leg may have bent awkwardly under the weight of the official on the play, and on Thursday the team revealed that he had indeed suffered a significant injury as a result of the freak accident.
The team has announced that Yakupov will miss anywhere from two to four weeks as a result of the injury, something that is likely to only make Oiler fans even more angry.
