Florida Panthers defenseman Aaron Ekblad announced yesterday that he was nursing a broken foot for most of the 2023 Stanley Cup Playoffs. We also learned early this morning that Ekblad also had a torn shoulder muscle and will undergo surgery this offseason. He's not expected to be ready for training camp in September and will likely miss the start of the 2023-24 season.
