Morgan Rielly rips linesman, calls him a “f***ing hero!”

In case you missed it, the Toronto Maple Leafs got past the struggling Anaheim Ducks pretty handily last night, trouncing them 6-1 in a lopsided contest. New Leafs defenseman Jake Muzzin had an incredible game, scoring three points and laying an absolute whopper or a hit on Ducks forward Corey Perry.

Earlier in the game though it was Muzzin’s defense partner Morgan Rielly who was making his presence known… but not to the opposition. During a chase for a loose puck that Rielly clearly felt should have been called for icing, a linesman waived off the icing which prompted Rielly to offer up his opinion.

Hey now, Mo… just cool your jets. A waived icing call in the second period is nothing to get on the refs bad side over…

In any case, the play didn’t end up hurting the Leafs and, as mentioned earlier, they seemed to have no problem persevering on their way to a 6-1 victory.
