Mortified girl rejects shirtless boyfriend's marriage proposal during Islanders game

Paging the young woman in the orange New York Islanders hat: Your shirtless boyfriend is crying uncontrollably in the men's washroom. Please remove him.

During a break in the action of the Islanders and Florida Panthers game at UBS Arena in Belmont Park a shirtless gentleman who had the words "PLZ SAY YES" painted across his chest got down on one knee to propose to his sweetheart and... well... it didn't go exactly as planned.

Honestly, I never got the appeal of a public proposal. You better be damn 100% sure that that woman is going to say, "Yes!" or you're never going to live it down.
