Multiple sources pointing to a big time trade in the NHL.

We have two sources on opposite sides of the border pointing to the same trade in the National Hockey League.

The first source comes in the form of Bruins insider Jimmy Murphy, who claims that the Boston Bruins have recently had talks with the Anaheim Ducks regarding the acquisition of their defenseman Cam Fowler.

Murphy calls this "more than speculation" stating that these tlaks have just recently taken place, and we know Anaheim has too many defenseman, and we know Boston desperately needs one, perhaps even two younger defensemen to round out their blue line.

The rumor becomes even more credible when you add in comments made by TSN insider Bob McKenzie, who stated unequivocally that the Ducks will "trade a player as soon as Lindholm signs" referring of course to Ducks restricted free agent defenseman Hampus Lindholm.

McKenzie also added that if he had to guess, the man on his way out would be the aforementioned Cam Fowler.
