MUST SEE: 10 year old Russian goalie attacks referee with his stick!

We've seen several incidents over the years in both professional and amateur hockey leagues of players attacking on-ice officials, but you don't often expect it to see something like that from pre-teenagers.

However, that's exactly what we saw earlier this week during a children's hockey tournament in Russia. 10 year-old goaltender Artemy Akshumov was captured on video (after having allowed 10 goals) striking an on-ice official with his blocker multiple times, and subsequently ejected.

He then skates after another official, and takes a swing at his head with his stick:

Thankfully, the swing from the young goalie wasn't exactly powerful, and the official didn't appear any worse for wear.

The stick-swinging incident immediately makes one thing of the stunning on-ice attack from Boston Bruins forward Marty McSorley on Vancouver Canucks forward Donald Brashear in 2000, as well as New York Islanders forward Chris Simon on New York Rangers forward Ryan Hollweg in 2007.
