Must See: AHL defenseman's shot goes through the net!

Last night, at the Van Andel Arena, between a game between the Grand Rapids Griffins and the Lake erie Monsters, people were expecting a shootout, but instead, fans in the arena were informed that defenseman Nick Jensen won the game for the Griffins... 6 minutes earlier.

During the overtime period, Jensen entered Lake Erie's zone and let go a booming slap shot that appeared to hit the post and went wide.

after multiple reviews, the referees realized that the puck actually wen through the net.

Jensen was credited with a game winning goal and can now brag that his shot is too strong for the nets in the AHL.
